Congratulations to Katie who qualified as a new PADI Divemaster today.
Katie’s Divemaster course was run along-side the PADI IDC at Reef Oasis Beach Resort, Sharm. It was a fantastic example of how multilevel training benefits the participants of both courses.
Katie’s comment above came after participating in an open water training session with IDC candidates. She went on, “You learn so much during role play when you are the person in control but my understanding of everything I’m learning has been reinforced 4-fold by watching others while they are taking their turn at being in control. It really has been the most fantastic course.”
The IDC candidates also found it beneficial having Katie on their course. Marc commented, “It’s really great having Katie on the course with us. It’s valuable to hear someone else’s perspective on the things we are doing. It’s a real shame that she won’t be part of the team during the IE. We will miss her.”
