One Day Seminar on what’s new and how to teach the New PADI Open Water Course

One Day Seminar to help you teach New PADI Open Water Course

The New PADI Open Water Course has a different emphasis than before. Your new divers need to be more independent than before and have a higher level of confidence with diving skills and ability.
Why is this? Research has shown that confident divers are much more likely to stay within the sport. They are much more likely to continue with their education and are much more likely to buy equipment. As we are in the Life Changing industry, we need to help our customers reach their desires and goals. It’s more fun for us as well!

More practice time needed for new skills.

The New PADI Open Water Course has some new skills – like dropping a weight belt and tightening up a loose cylinder band.  These skills are easy to teach!
However, there is now a lot more emphasis on buoyancy. For example, in confined dive 4 your Open Water students will be expected to orally inflate their BCD, then hover for one minute.  On the same dive they will also have to descend, not touch the bottom, swim around and then surface.

So? How on earth can you ask your students to be proficient in such a short time?
That’s a good question! One that I’ve been answering for a long time. My “Power of Words” course is designed to allow your students to learn in the most efficient way! I’ll be sharing some of these techniques with you on this seminar. Your students will learn quickly and have plenty of time to practice their new skills with “mini dives”.
